Esco Aster, a leading independent contract development and manufacturing organization dedicated to the Singapore's R&D ecosystem, has unveiled its new and improved TideCell®, CelCradle™ and GlucCell® at A*STAR Research Support Center Scientific Roadshow in Biopolis, Singapore.
Esco TideCell operates on the patented Tide Motion principle and is the world's largest linearly scalable single-use, adherent cells bioreactor up to 5,000 liters packed bed volume (bioequivalence of 50,000 liters as used in a stirred tank suspension model) with closed cell harvesting system equipped with product yields of cell harvest experiments greater than 90%.
"Our customers are on the cutting edge of developing new cell-based therapies using immune stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, and exosomes derived stem cells which can be collected and processed in our CDMO Laboratory.. We are showcasing our proprietary designed equipment and services in Singapore Biopolis to meet with customers and to hear about the latest developments and needs in cell-based research to better serve the scientists in this exciting and rapidly evolving new field."
Esco Aster is poised to be the first CDMO within the Asia Pacific region completely based on our patented bioprocessing platform. The company has listed its products and services, available at special academic pricing (while stocks last), on A*STAR Research Support Center customer portal to provide the latest development tools for every scientist and bioentrepreneur needs. With a focus on customers, this portal provides everyone the ability to easily access Esco Aster products, services and updates in a streamlined and timely manner - all in one place

About Tide Motion Bioreactors
Tide motion pertains to the oscillation of culture medium into and out of the matrix vessel that intermittently exposes the cells to aeration and nutrition. The upward oscillation exposes the cells to nutrition, while the downward oscillation exposes the cells to aeration and at the same time washes away products and wastes. This gentle oscillation produces no air bubbles and causes very minimal shear stress, which are both detrimental to the cells. View a range of products at http://www.escoaster.com/tide-technology
About Esco Aster
Esco Aster is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focusing on offering vaccine-, cell- and gene-therapy development and biomanufacturing services using its proprietary Tide Motion™ technology, bioprocessing and bioengineering equipment.
Esco Aster aims to be a best-in-class cGMP CDMO, enabling the production of larger quantities of biologics materials needed for preclinical toxicology studies, clinical trials and eventual commercialization, thus accelerating the transition of novel technologies from laboratory to patients in need.
