Selected candidate will report to Head of
Engineering and others as assigned.
Primary work location: Ayer Rajah Crescent,
Singapore
- Attend
site meetings and site briefings with consultants and sub-contractors.
- Assist
in the preparation of tender submission documents.
- Preparation
of tender documents, cost estimates, bills of quantities and other
necessary documentation.
- Obtain
quotations, negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors
and other stakeholders.
- Calculating
material quantities and costs, labor costs and an achievable project
costing and timeframe.
- Ensure
works on site are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
- Oversee
and ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor
work progress and control workmanship on site.
- Prepare
claim and monthly project progress claim.
- Assist
in preparing the key commercial control documents such as the Procurement
Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy to ensure the
project is well planned.
- Assist
in maintaining control of project documents including drawings and
records.
- Attend
Project Meetings as required by Head of Engineering.
- Post
contract signing to act as project manager or part of project management
team.
- Any
ad-hoc duties as required.
- Diploma
or Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum
5 years of working experience in construction field, however
cleanroom/laboratory construction is a big advantage.
- Possess
excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and understand
meticulous reporting.
- Efficient,
Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
- Class
3 or 3A licence with your own vehicle will be advantage with allowances.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad is an advantage.
