Cleanroom Production Support

Who we’re looking for

The Scope

You will be part of Esco Aster’s Production unit and contribute towards the overall site mission and objectives. This role involves maintaining critical supplies, coordinating vendor services and ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the production environment.

Primary work location: Ayer Rajah Crescent, Singapore

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate inventory of compressed process gases.
  • Monitor the usage and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent disruptions in production.
  • Management of received goods and materials.
  • Maintenance of accurate inventory records and ensure the proper storage of inventory.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock levels and reorder supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate vendor activities related to pest control and air conditioning services.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
  • Coordination of the disposal of special waste in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintenance of waste disposal records and ensure timely removal of waste from the facility.
  • Oversee the cleaning staff and ensure all cleaning activities are performed to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness and adherence to protocols.
  • Perform hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with cleanroom standards.
  • Documentation of inspection results and implementation of corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide support to process team as needed.
  • Assist with various tasks and projects to ensure smooth production operations. 

Requirements

  • Diploma in life sciences preferred or relevant discipline with 2 years or more experience in a cGMP/aseptic environment.
  • A strong focus on safety and operation excellence, with a good understanding of cleanroom protocols and procedures.
  • Food safety level 3 certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors, colleagues and management.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict dress codes and cleanliness protocols.
